Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ 1: What Makes Earthspun Loom Blankets Different?

Most "cotton" blankets hide synthetic polyester batting on the inside. Earthspun Loom is one of the rare places on the internet where you get 100% organic cotton on the outside AND 100% organic cotton fill on the inside. No polyester, no synthetic blends, just cotton the way nature indeed it to be.

In addition to our incredibly unique, sleep-improving blanket, our core values are all about doing business the right way. We, as consumers, feel exactly the same way you do: you deserve to know the honest truth about what is inside the products you choose to spend your hard-earned money on. While other brands use "greenwashing" shortcuts, we refuse to compromise. Our mission is rooted in radical honesty, complete transparency, and quality you can genuinely trust.

FAQ 2: Is This Blanket Heavy? Is it a Comforter or a Blanket?

First of all, it is heavy in the best way, and you can call it whatever you prefer! It provides a beautiful, comforting weight without the suffocating bulk of synthetic comforters. Because it is packed with pure natural cotton fill, it feels thick, substantial, and gives you that grounded, tucked-in feeling.

FAQ 3: Will it Make Me Overheat?

Not at all. Polyester traps body heat, which causes night sweats. Because our blankets are 100% premium organic cotton, they are naturally temperature-regulating and highly breathable- perfect for year-round comfort and hot sleepers alike!

FAQ 4: How Do I Wash It?

Machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Tumble dry on a low heat or line dry. Do not bleach. (Pro-Tip: Throw a few wool dryer balls in with it to keep the organic cotton fill perfectly distributed!)

FAQ 5: Will the Color Fade Over Time?

Yes, gently! Because we use clean, eco-friendly dyes instead of toxic chemical color-fixatives, the colors will beautifully soften with time. Many of our customers love this- it gives the blanket a gorgeous lived-in, vintage heirloom look.
